Interplanetary Trajectory Searching Algorithm

  • Using MATLAB and particle swarm optimization to find viable ballistic trajectories with multiple planetary gravity assits, with options to include resonant orbits and Type III/IV+ flybys.

Lunar Beacon Design

  • Designing lunar navigational beacons with NASA MSFC and working on soft-landing software that includes control optimization and landing site selection.

Buoyancy Propelled Aircraft for Venus Exploration

  • Designing and testing a new aircraft design for exploring Venus' upper atmosphere. Working on a simulation environment that was used to validate the design coupled with wind tunnels testing and CFD analysis.

Lunar Impactor Mission Design and Propulsion System

  • Working with a team of students to develop a mission which would impact the lunar south pole, focusing on the propulsion system and trajectory design and optimization.
